The Dryden Regional Health Centre Is Seeking To Fill a Casual Position With a Highly-motivated, Team-orientated Professional In Our Nursing Department

Casual Registered Practical Nurses

As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, Dryden Regional Health Centre's Registered Practical Nurses provide comprehensive compassionate nursing care to a variety of clients. We are a community hospital that is committed to patient centred care, evidence based practice and continuous quality improvement. As a Registered Practical Nurse you will provide and co-ordinate nursing care to assigned clients consistent with current Standards of Professional Practice with the Ontario College of Nurses.

Requirements

• Current Certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current CPR
• Good Physical health
• Willing to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Demonstration of strong nursing practice, skill and judgment
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including superior verbal communication abilities
• Demonstrated critical thinking, leadership and mentoring skills
• Demonstrates behaviours consistent with Dryden Regional Health Centre's Code of Conduct and Standards of Behaviour
• Proven attendance record
• Able to perform the essential duties of the job
• Demonstrates DRHC Core Values; Accountability, Integrity, Humility, Compassion and Respect
• Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination status to be presented prior to hire
