Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all areas of the venue, making swift decisions as neededAdhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costsEnsure all financial and personnel / payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately and on timeEnforce sanitary practices for food handling and general cleanlinessMaintain compliance with operational standards, company policies, and all applicable laws and ordinancesPresent a professional restaurant image through cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standardsDeeply understand and consistently deliver on the venue brand, inspiring others to do the sameBalance outstanding guest service with a focus on employee experience and a strong team cultureLead by example with a visible floor presence throughout your shiftPrepare for and attend weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semi‑annual planning meetingsQualifications
ProServer certification requiredWSET certification is an asset2+ years of experience in the food and beverage industryComfortable with technology and systems; able to troubleshoot, update, and train othersExcellent teamwork, communication, and collaborative skillsAbility to build trusting relationships and foster workplace cultureOpen to new perspectives and flexible with scheduleProfessional and tactful in all interactionsWillingness to work a flexible scheduleApplicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
