Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Inventory Specialist to manage inventory control processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in using ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle).
- Location : Based in Calgary, Alberta.
- Work Hours : Monday to Thursday (7 am to 4 pm), Friday (7 am to 1 pm).
- Compensation : $25 - $28 per hour
Responsibilities :
- Inventory Control : Oversee inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Returns and Allocations : Manage the return process for unneeded inventory and reallocate resources efficiently.
- ERP Utilization : Utilize ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) to track inventory, generate reports, and optimize stock levels.
- Communication : Collaborate with team members and stakeholders via email correspondence.
- Data Analysis : Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Problem-Solving : Address inventory-related challenges promptly and proactively.
Qualifications :
- Education : Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- Experience : At least 5 years of relevant experience in inventory control or supply chain management.
- ERP Experience : Prior experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is essential.
- Certifications : Any certifications related to supply chain or inventory management are considered an asset.
- Computer Skills : Proficiency in using email, spreadsheets, and other relevant software.
