CO-OP MECHANICAL ENGINEER (8-MONTH)

Schedule : Compressed Work Week (9-hour dayshifts, every other Friday off)

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Site Mechanical Engineer, the Mechanical Engineer Co‑op will be focused on capital projects, reliability of industrial systems and construction management. Applicants must be enrolled in post‑secondary education in their 3rd or 4th year Mechanical Engineering.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for pulp manufacturing, renewable power generation and environmental systems.
• Be part of a team that promotes continuous learning, coaching and mentoring.
• AutoCAD drafting and design.
• Work with the site Mechanical Engineers to plan and prepare documents for mechanical construction and commissioning of ongoing projects.
• Documentation and engineering drawing management for multi‑discipline projects. Duties will include liaison with engineering consultants, contractors and vendors.
• Completion of a number of self‑managed projects.
