Now recruiting for the 2025‑2026 School Year. Educational Assistants are needed for daily casual work across all schools in BGCDSB. Short‑ and long‑term contracts may be available for applicants accepted onto our Casual EA List.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Completion of a post‑secondary education program in Educational Support Worker, Educational Assistant Certificate, Early Childhood Education, Social Services Worker, Developmental Services Worker, Child & Youth Worker, the in‑school academic requirements of the Educational Assistant Apprenticeship Program or equivalent, and / or experience approved by the Superintendent of Education (any valid post‑secondary credential or equivalent experience is acceptable).
• A vulnerable sector check valid within 6 months from date of hire is a condition of hire with the Board.
