Location : Canada . Office remote with occasional travel in Canada.

Desired Qualifications and Experience :

  • Experience in Agriculture or in a Nonprofit Board
  • Experience in Social Media and Public Relations
  • Passion for Agriculture
  • Sponsorship experience
  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian Agriculture Industry
  • Exceptional problem - solving, analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with board and members across Canada
  • Supreme time management skills, ability to work from home, multi - tasking, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Positive attitude, ensuring the accurate, complete, and on - time delivery of desired outcomes

  • Working with Sage Accounting Program, Year End with Accountants
  • General Insurance; Directors' and Officers' Insurance
  • File Board Minutes and Year End in Minute Book
  • Conduct Online Banking

Public Relations

  • Handling Member Requests
  • Communications through Monthly Newsletters; Research and Collecting Articles
  • Conversations with Active and Potential Members
  • Social Media Planning and Execution
  • Update and Maintain Website

Event Planning

  • Organize, Plan, and Attend Major In - Person Events (travel and overnight stays);
  • Farm Tax and Legal Update
  • Top Farms Event
  • Farm Update Events in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan
  • Organize Budget, Speakers, Venues, Marketing Plans, Agendas for Events
  • Plan and Host Webinars
  • Plan and Host Quarterly Board Meetings and Annual General Meeting
