Job Description

The position may perform or assist in performing manual labouring duties as assigned and, on occasion, where provided by the collective agreement, may perform duties of a higher classification.

Must have two (2) years proven greenhouse experience in handling bedding out plants.

Applicants must be reliable, able to perform manual labouring duties, operate hand held tools and equipment, communicate effectively, follow instructions, be health & safety conscious, and attend work regularly.

In addition, applicants may be required to possess and maintain a valid Class G Ontario Drivers Licence, or equivalent, meet the definition of a competent driver as defined by the Corporation, provide a successful driver’s record (uncertified), undergo a work fitness test and a Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC).
