About the position
Responsibilities
Provides general maintenance, repair and labour services to support grounds, trails and facilities maintenance; construction and installations; and other general maintenance and repair requirements for the Parks Canada Agency. This is outdoor, physically demanding work. You will be expected to perform strenuous physical activity effectively and safely, work and travel in varied terrain and weather conditions, and provide and wear sturdy footwear suitable for hiking and working in a mountainous environment. You must be willing and able to spend up to ten days duration in a remote work location, work weekends, holidays, overtime and assist with forest fire suppression, including stand‑by and extra‑duty if required.
