• Status : Full Time
• Office Location : Burlington
• Salary Range : $54,500-$65,500
• Additional Compensation Info : up to 3% bonus based on specific metrics
• Reason for Hire : Replacement   Reporting to Partners and Managers, you will be responsible for :
• Being a key contributor to the growth of a new US Tax group, and contributing to tax planning and client management initiatives
• Under supervision, preparing all types of US tax returns, including personal and corporate returns
• Researching and interpreting tax legislation, formulating solutions, and providing suggestions
• Providing technical support on US personal and corporate  tax projects
• Assistance to other offices of the Firm as required
• Additional responsibilities as required to support Firm objectives   The ideal candidate will have
• Graduate of a University Accounting Program, or equivalent, or Enrollment in a University Co-op Accounting Program, or equivalent
• Pursuing US Certified Public Accountant and / or Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
• Experience in a public accounting Firm, an asset
• Thorough understanding of the Internal Revenue Code
