RidgeTech Automation is seeking a dynamic and skilled Control Systems Specialist with 5+ years of experience to join our team. Applicants with robot programmer experience and a willingness to travel (globally and locally) will be highly considered based on current project demand.

Responsibilities :
- Uphold company policies and submit timesheets / service reports accurately
- Execute and lead technical tasks including :
- Electrical and Fluid Power Designs (EPLAN, AutoCAD)
- Peripheral systems (vision systems, marking systems, weld systems)
- Participate in stand‑ups, work planning, and technical reviews
- Utilize Jira for progress updates and ticket management
- Manage client relationships and project scope
- Lead commissioning, testing, and debugging of automation systems
- Ensure accurate and complete project documentation
- Promote efficiencies and continuous improvement
- Stay current with applicable standards, codes, and rules
- Support clients during regular hours, after hours, and weekends as required
- Engage in initiatives to share knowledge and support team development
- Purchase hardware and materials for projects
- Maintain and develop technical knowledge through training and industry events
- Utilize non‑chargeable time efficiently through approved activities
- Identify potential projects and opportunities for RidgeTech Automation
- Perform other relevant tasks as assigned
Requirements :
Post‑secondary degree / diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or Robotics & Automation5+ years of practical experience in the controls and automation industryStrong mechanical and electrical aptitudesAbility to work independently and deliver fully tested workCoaching skills to provide feedback and directionProficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)Experience with various vendor hardware and softwareStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsEffective time management and task ownershipPositive attitude and strong communication skillsQuick learner, able to work independently or in a teamInitiative to learn and complete trainingAbility to manage stress and maintain a pleasant dispositionExperience with Java, HTML, Python, Visual Basic, and / or database programming is an assetAdditional Requirements :
