Overview :

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Industrial Millwright with a Red Seal certification for our client in Orangeville.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and reliable operation.

This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities :

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment, including conveyor systems, pumps, compressors, and production machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the ongoing reliability and performance of machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical problems to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to determine equipment specifications and repair procedures.
• Fabricate and machine replacement parts using manual and CNC machining equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory levels.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to equipment.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel, production operators, and supervisors to prioritize tasks and minimize downtime.
• Provide training and guidance to junior millwrights and apprentices as needed.

Qualifications :

• Red Seal certification as an Industrial Millwright.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as an industrial millwright in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Experience with welding, machining, and fabrication techniques.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay : $30.40-$44.00 per hour

Expected hours : 40 50 per week

Flexible Language Requirement :

French not required

Schedule :

Permanent Continental 12 hr day / night shifts (7am / 7pm)

Ability to commute / relocate :

Orangeville, ON : reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
