Vaughan is seeking its next City Manager.

Reporting to the Mayor and advising the Mayor and Council, the City Manager leads the City’s Administration and is ultimately accountable for the strategic management of all human and financial resources in the delivery of the business affairs of the City.

The City Manager leads and oversees a talented municipal leadership team committed to the City’s vision to be a city of choice that promotes diversity, innovation and opportunity for all citizens, fostering a vibrant community life that is inclusive, progressive, environmentally responsible and sustainable.

As an ideal candidate, you are a respected, visionary, outcomes-oriented senior executive leader with strong business and financial acumen and a track record of success in facilitating change and growth.

You are highly regarded for your political acuity, outstanding communication skills and ability to build strong and effective relationships across a diverse array of municipal and community members, partners, and collaborators.

A skilled people leader whose style is inclusive, empowering and transparent, you enjoy coaching, mentoring and building innovative, high performing teams.

You are highly regarded for your client service orientation, analytical skills and willingness to challenge the status quo in service of community growth and the enhancement of services to residents.
