We are currently seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Team Lead based in Saint John, New Brunswick.

As a Maintenance & Reliability Team Lead at Sunbury Transport, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and cost effectiveness of our truck and trailer fleet.

You will apply engineering principles to improve performance, develop maintenance strategies, and reduce equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead Sunbury’s Maintenance Planning team’s work order process to deliver target cost per mile (CPM) while reducing equipment downtime.
• Collaborate with Operations and Vendors to execute Preventative Maintenance programs to improve the reliability and safety of equipment.
• Analyze maintenance data and equipment performance to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Oversee pilot testing and make recommendations on new equipment or components to improve fleet performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring technical failures.
• Train maintenance planners on reliability best practices and procedures.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in reliability engineering or maintenance within the transportation industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
