Tim Hortons (CPG) is looking for a Key Account Manager to join our CPG sales team. Join a small entrepreneurial team at Tim Hortons.

We are a 25-person team managing over $500 million in coffee and food sales within grocery, mass, drug, eCommerce and other retail channels in North America.

The Key Account Manager will promote the sale of Tim Hortons at Home products within traditional and alternative food channels as well as serve as the subject matter expert for our products.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our current customers. In addition, you will drive market share growth and show how our portfolio of products can support retail partner objectives to deliver superior results.

Position Overview :

  • Responsible for managing and growing Canadian Retail accounts with a focus on the largest accounts including Walmart, Loblaws, Sobeys and Costco Canada.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships
  • Develop sales materials and pitch decks for new launches at line reviews
  • Monitor and optimize trade investments
  • Develop a regular customer contact schedule (some travel required).
  • Sales forecasting developing monthly forecasts based on retail sales and providing updates to the vendors that produce our products.
  • Support brokers and field staff as they manage other major accounts.
  • Meet monthly sales objectives; work cross functionally with internal and external teams to provide excellent customer support and service.
  • Prepare sample shipments and item set-up documents for new products and major accounts.
  • Compile and distribute reports and information related to key accounts
  • Lead development and execution of trade marketing programs, such as new displays and customer merch programs
  • Support ideation and commercialization of new product innovation

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor’s degree, College diploma, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years related experience in a similar role working with Loblaws, Sobeys, Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart and their backend systems, is a plus.
  • Strong team player with persuasive communication skills
  • Experience in reviewing and optimizing promotional investments including working with our market insights analyst to ensure data driven decision making
  • Able to travel, with some overnight travel
  • Able to travel to the United States
  • CPG and / or coffee industry experience is a plus
