Property Manager
Job Description
Altis Recruitment is seeking a Property Manager for our client, who specializes in residential properties. As a Residential Property Manager, you'll be pivotal in realizing this commitment by overseeing daily operations of residential properties.
PLEASE NOTE : This role is onsite.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct tenant leasing processes, from screening applicants to negotiating lease agreements.
- Foster positive tenant relations by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests.
- Enforce lease agreements, handle lease renewals, and manage terminations efficiently.
- Regularly inspect properties to identify maintenance and repair needs.
- Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality work and cost-effectiveness.
- Collect and track rent payments, late fees, and security deposits.
- Stay updated on local and provincial property management laws and regulations.
- Ensure properties comply with safety and environmental standards.
- Address legal matters such as evictions, inspections, and lease violations.
- Maintain online listings and property advertisements.
- Conduct market research to determine competitive rental rates.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3+ years of experience in property management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of local property management laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in property management software, particularly Yardi.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
