As an Arrow mechanic and / or apprentice mechanic, you will perform skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of tractors, trailers and mobile equipment. Responsibilities
As an Arrow mechanic, you will perform skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of tractors, trailers and mobile equipment.
Provide routine maintenance on tractors, trailers and mobile equipment such as forklifts and loadersCheck all equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctionsMaintain safe working conditions and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulationsPerform mechanical repairs on equipment in the shop and road calls when requiredDiagnose any faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair that is required.Perform incidental welding repairs on equipment.Operate automotive servicing equipment, e.g. A / C recycler, etc.Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniquesYou Possess
Journeyman's certificate, Red Seal, or equivalent qualificationClean driver’s abstract with no suspensionsProven mechanical abilities in hydraulics and electrical, including schematics and diagnosticsExperience with routine maintenance operationsA positive attitudeStrong safety mindsetSolid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environmentAbility to deal with people tactfully and professionally at all timesAbility to work well under pressureAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screeningAt least two job referencesMechanic apprentices are welcome to apply!
