Role Accountabilities
- Ensure precise record‑keeping and prescription information from nursing staff is filled via dispensary software.
- Prepare medication for compliance packaging and maintain workflow for receiving and processing prescriptions within timelines.
- Assist with pharmacy inventory management and potentially operate automated dispensing machine (PacMed) for processing and filling prescriptions.
- Manage returns and expired products from nursing homes, including unpacking, sorting and disposal of medications.
- Prepare creams and liquids, and generate daily and weekly production reports.
- Maintain stock levels, reorder medications, and prepare both manual and automated compliance packaging.
- Ensure accurate documentation, maintain confidentiality, adhere to ethical standards, and contribute to a clean pharmacy environment.
What You Will Bring To The Team
Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or certification from an accredited Pharmacy Assistant program is preferred, but not required – training will be provided for the position.Experience with KROLL and / or PacMed is an asset.Visual acuity, numeracy, detail orientation and manual dexterity required for appropriate handling of strip packs, prescription bottles and labels.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organisational skills and detail orientation.Benefits

Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate’s credentials and experience.
Location : On‑site role at 570 Bay Street, Victoria, BC. Five‑day workweek with weekend rotation.
