The Canadian Cancer Society is committed to supporting those affected by cancer across Canada. The Digital Strategy & Technology team focuses on digital transformation, enhancing fundraising capabilities and user experience through innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams to perform QA testing, identify bugs, and ensure new features meet quality standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
- Provide training sessions and resources to end users to improve application proficiency.
- Monitor application performance and system alerts to proactively resolve potential issues.
- Follow best practices in maintenance, configuration, development, QA, data integrity, and root cause analysis.
- Provide technical assistance troubleshooting Salesforce, app integrations, tools, and plugins; coordinate with DAS teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Support other Salesforce roles (administrators, analysts, data scientists).
- Use the ticket system to update the knowledge base and document design processes.
Solutions Management
Define solution requirements and align with business goals before implementation.Assess and manage vendor capabilities; negotiate terms for cost-effective solutions.Assist with lifecycle management of solutions, including upgrades, integrations, and retirement planning.Projects and Others
Plan, test, and deploy application upgrade projects.Coordinate legacy system migration activities.Manage integration projects between CRM and third-party applications.Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency.Assist in vendor evaluation and onboarding for new application solutions.Promote diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity by ensuring all staff feel represented, valued, and heard.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Experience supporting enterprise applications in complex environments with technical, operational, and solution-based projects.Proficient in system and application architecture, troubleshooting, support, and developer tools.Salesforce Administration Certification.Experience with Salesforce administration, development tools, Experience Cloud, NPSP, and NPC.Experience with external vendors and Agile / Waterfall projects; proficient in Azure DevOps, Jira, or Asana.Strong understanding of ITIL processes (change, incident, problem management); knowledge of web application support.Familiarity with Palette, NetSuite, FormAssembly, Oracle PBCS, Live Chat, RDPWin, Novus, and Crystal Reports is an asset.Working knowledge of Apex, .NET, HTML, and JavaScript is an asset.Non-profit experience is an asset.Bilingualism (French / English) is preferred; French is an asset.Other may apply.What You Can Expect From Us
