Summary
Reporting to the Slot Supervisor / Slot Manager the Slot Cashier will ensure they promote utmost integrity and the highest caliber of customer service. The Slot Cashier will be required to administer/ exchange currency or redemption of TITO tickets. Responsibility of maintaining assigned areas in Slot Cage/Guest Services. The schedule for this position may vary and require the ability to work shift work, late nights, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.

Job Duties
- Ensure the guest is being provided with superior customer service
- Adhere to all the established policies and procedures for effective and secure cash flow
- Responsible for the redemption of all TITO tickets as well as balancing them at the end of each shift
- Responsible for assigned cash float, reconciliation of corresponding paperwork, and balancing currency at cash out
- Identify and report counterfeit bills
- Monitor and report risk and safety concerns to ensure a safe environment for both associates and guests
- Support and communicate with all associates within the casino gaming floor
- Responsible for the daily execution of operational goals and objectives
- Actively promote the Players Card Club
- Computer data entry of cash transactions, IVS Tito program, VLT’S
- Actively communicates inefficiencies
- Maintains housekeeping of workstation and surrounding areas
- Uphold a teamwork appearance offering assistance where available or when requested
- Able to learn the duties of a Lotto/Retail cashier
- Ensure the Guest Services area meets desired presentation for our guests, clean and tidy throughout hours of operation
- Pleasant phone etiquette
- Maintain daily inventory control counts
- Learning and entering data into Players Club program
- Maintains a positive and respectful attitude with a “One Team” mindset
- Actively promote and sign up guests in the Casino’s Players Club
- Is flexible and willing to perform duties as workload necessitates

- Maintain a AGLC gaming worker's license
- Ensure guests are provided with superior customer service
- Adhere to policies and procedures outlined on the slot floor
- Administer hand pay jackpots, bill exchanges with guests, machine maintenance including diagnosis of machine malfunctions, ticket games, and game diagnostics
- Responsible for the initial response to customer complaints, claims, and inquiries
- Ensure compliance with AGLC terms and conditions
- Monitor and report risk and safety concerns to ensure a safe environment for both associates and guests
- Support and communicate with all associates on the casino gaming floor
- Execute daily assigned operational goals and objectives
- Ensure the slot floor meets desired presentation for guests
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude with a “One Team” mindset

Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- AGLC Pro-Serve certification
- Able to maintain security clearance
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment
- Must be available to work days, late nights, evenings and weekends
- Fluent in the English language
- Have reliable means of transportation

Work Conditions
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 25 lbs. using proper lifting techniques – responsible for stocking non-alcoholic beverages
- Must be able to stand for prolonged period of time.

- Must be able to carry a serving tray with drinks/food
- Must be able to carry out light cleaning duties
- Must be available to work all shifts including evenings, weekends and holiday
