What you’ll be doing…

As a Middle School Science Teacher, you are the lead investigator in the classroom. You’ll be responsible for creating an environment where inquiry meets impact. From designing hands‑on labs to analyzing student performance data, you will ensure every student has the "bandwidth" to succeed in a complex world. You’ll also serve as a vital link for our students as an Advisor, helping them navigate their academic and social‑emotional growth.

Your key responsibilities include :

• Delivering Dynamic Instruction : Managing 4-5 classes where you’ll implement standards-based, culturally relevant lesson plans that integrate literacy and critical thinking.
• Designing the Framework : Submitting weekly \'Weeks-at-a-Glance\' (WAAGS), syllabi, and unit plans aligned with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and California state requirements.
• Mentorship & Connection : Leading an Advisory group, acting as a primary point of contact for families and providing targeted support for student development.
• Culture Leadership : Being a visible presence on campus—from morning huddles to hallway transitions—upholding school-wide norms and safety.
