Warehouse Manager
Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) offers a unique opportunity for a deployed Warehouse Manager to manage the retail warehouse for the Canadian Armed Forces and partner nations for six months overseas.
CFMWS is a community dedicated to supporting Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans, and their families. We provide programs and services that enhance mental, social, physical, financial, and familial well‑being.
The Role
The Warehouse Manager will oversee day‑to‑day operations of the warehouse, including :
- Developing business opportunities with local vendors and internal CFMWS retail resources
- Receiving and verifying delivery of merchandise
- Maintaining inventory records and producing accountability reports
- Preparing deposits and supervising warehouse staff
This fast‑paced, land‑based role requires adaptability to a constantly changing environment and a strong team‑player attitude.
Qualifications
College diploma or certificate in Business Management or a related fieldCanadian citizenship and a valid Canadian passportValid Canadian driver's licence (Class G or Class 5)Experience in retail management, delivering employee training, warehouse / logistics management, and using point of sale systemsCompetencies in client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadershipCompletion of health, dental and psychosocial assessment; security screening; current CPR and Basic First Aid qualificationsAbility to walk and lift, carry, pull or push heavy itemsLanguage Requirements
