Role and Responsibilities
CAE, the worldwide leader in aviation training is seeking a US, Canada or Europe Based Full Time Maintenance Training Instructors to enhance our Commercial, Business and Helicopter Aviation Maintenance Training Team.
This position does require global travel.
If you are a Mechanic, Avionics Technician or Maintenance Instructor with experience on Bombardier, Gulfstream, Dassault, Citation, H elicopters , or other Commercial or Business aircraft and are looking for a new opportunity where you help support our business aviation maintenance instruction team, this role could be for you!
The Maintenance Training Instructor works as part of a team dedicated to providing aircraft maintenance training on products manufactured by the biggest OEM's in the world.
Use extensive aviation maintenance experience, technical training experience, and varied computer skills (text & graphics), to develop, deliver, and maintain multi-media and computer-assisted courseware packages.
This position is customer-facing and is focused on identifying and supporting customers’ needs and requests. Provides training to the customers at varied locations and manages and resolves a broad range of issues in an autonomous manner.
Delivers aircraft system training in areas of expertise using a variety of instructional training aids in the classroom environment including the use of multimedia presentations (videos, slides, Power Point), aircraft components and aircraft simulators.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience working on; Bombardier, Gulfstream, Dassault, Citation, H elicopters, or other Commercial or Business aircraft is required.
- Working knowledge of mechanical or avionics aircraft systems related to area of responsibility.
- Ability to resolve customer instructional issues autonomously.
- Working knowledge in a variety of basic computer software programs, (Windows Suite, PowerPoint, MS Word,) to develop, revise and deliver training material and presentations.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A current aviation authority industry license (TC, EASA, A&P, etc.) is preferred.
- Prior instructional experience is an asset but not required.
