We're in search of a forward-thinking and results-oriented individual to take on the role of Senior Product Manager of Cyber Security in the SMB Product team.

In this critical role, you will act as an entrepreneur to launch and enable the growth of the SMB Cyber Security product offering enabling small and medium-sized businesses across Canada to thrive in the digital world.

As a member of the TELUS SMB Product team, you will play a critical role in creating a Cyber Security solution for the SMB segment.

You will have the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of technology, business, and customer experience while gathering market requirements, developing business cases and leveraging your experience managing multiple projects.

Working closely with various teams across the TELUS organization, including Consumer Solutions, Finance, Customer Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Systems teams, you will play a crucial role in shaping the product strategy and customer experience for years to come.

What you’ll do

As a valued member of our team, you will define the product strategy, customer experience and launch a cyber security offering for the SMB segment.

You will also have the opportunity to work with multiple cross-functional teams across TELUS including : Project Management Office, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Field Technicians, and Systems teams.

You'll be at the heart of our collaborative culture that thrives on creativity and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategy : Define and implement product strategy to drive success
  • Roadmap Development : Manage product roadmaps and collaborate with enabling teams for effective lifecycle management, including product introduction, optimization, and retirement
  • Implementation : Own the strategy and execution of business initiatives, working with stakeholders to identify opportunities that optimize processes and deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Thought Leadership : Define, analyze and present product opportunities to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Relationship Building : Foster strong work relationships with internal and external partners across TELUS, as well as external vendor partners
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) : Serve as the SME for our SMB cyber security products
  • Customer Experience : Drive engagement and improve experience for current and new customers
  • Key performance indicators : Revenue / COGS / Margin, Churn, Customer L2R (Likelihood to Recommend)

Qualifications

What you bring

  • 7+ years of experience successfully launching products
  • Progressive experience in product management, marketing, or strategy
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong leadership and process management skills
  • A passion for quantitative analysis and a reputation for being a problem-solver and creative thinker
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Strong understanding of Cyber Security is preferred, but not required
  • University degree, preferably in business, commerce or a related field
  • Fluency in English both verbal and written is preferred for this opportunity
