We are looking to hire a full-time Senior Manager to join the CRC National Management team. The CRC Senior Manager will assist audit business units and the CRC Champions network D&A Center monthly reporting and budget modelling to manage CRC objectives and related KPIs. A primary role is to provide direct support and guidance to both offshore and onshore teams so that Canadian audit engagement teams can leverage the CRC D&A Center of Excellence on their audits.
The position may require international travel and work from India.
What You Will Do
- Operations : Oversee day-to-day operations of the CRC D&A Center of Excellence in collaboration with the CRC national management team and the CDST team; provide direct support to audit engagement teams to leverage the Center on engagements; assist in overseeing the Quality (QMCI) team at the CRC in India by identifying areas for quality improvement and implementing solutions; prepare training materials and guidance documents for the internal CRC portal; ensure active support of the business using firm processes and programs.
- Data & Analytics : Identify potential new services, offerings, and tools to enhance audit engagement teams’ experience; perform annual budgeting, forecasting and hours / FTE modelling using data analytics programs; participate in business development by identifying opportunities and assisting with proposals; coordinate with onshore / offshore teams to ensure licensing and access controls; review and approve requests for access to standard software and tools (e.g., Visio Pro, Alteryx, PowerBI).
- Other : Act as a performance manager to junior team members; be willing to travel internationally and obtain requisite visas / work permits for India; support policy interpretation and application as required; align work hours for offshore overlap to ensure operational oversight.
What You Bring To The Role
Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent.8+ years of experience in a public practice accounting firm, with at least 5 years in a management role.Senior manager or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience with KPMG Canada.Minimum 5 years of auditing and team management experience.Degree in computer science, database management or programming (or equivalent experience).Proficiency with databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.) is an asset.Experience with analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Power Query, Python, R, Alteryx, PowerApps / Power Automate).Knowledge of ServiceNow is an asset.Strong communication, problem-solving, mentoring, and time-management skills.Fluent in English; bilingual in French and English is an asset.Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Comfortable working in both virtual and in-person environments.Compensation and Logistics
The expected base salary range for this position is CA$86,000 to CA$150,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. Total rewards are competitive and depend on location, skills, competencies, and qualifications.
