Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Manager, Managed IT Services, to lead a national sales team and drive revenue growth across mid-market and enterprise accounts. This role shapes our Managed IT strategy, ensuring predictable revenue performance and delivering exceptional client experiences.
Responsibilities
- Leading a national team of Managed IT sales representatives to achieve growth targets for Managed IT Services across Canada.
- Driving proactive prospecting and pipeline generation for medium- to enterprise-sized customers within Canon’s named-account portfolio and among existing clients, while identifying net-new opportunities.
- Engaging C-level and senior stakeholders to diagnose IT needs, business drivers, risks, and strategic objectives that inform solution recommendations.
- Guiding the team to tailor managed IT service offerings and proposals to client pain points; review and approve presentations, RFP responses, and commercial proposals that highlight Canon’s capabilities and differentiation.
- Coordinating with the broader sales organization to maximize outreach, cross-sell / up-sell opportunities, and leverage existing client relationships for Managed IT deals.
- Liaising with management, solutions architects (internal and external), and professional services to design technical solutions, support onsite assessments, and ensure proposed services are feasible and scalable.
- Monitor market and competitor activity; provide field feedback to product, marketing, and enablement to refine offers, pricing, and sales messaging.
- Owning CRM discipline : ensure the team maintains accurate, timely sales records, forecasts, and opportunity hygiene in CRM systems and reporting tools.
- Establish and track team KPIs (quota attainment, pipeline coverage, win rate, deal size, sales cycle) and run regular pipeline reviews to drive predictable revenue performance.
- Leading deal governance : manage pricing approvals, contract review input, and risk escalation to Legal and Finance as needed.
- Promoting customer success and smooth handoffs to delivery and operations to ensure onboarding, SLA adherence, and account expansion.
To Succeed, You Will Need
Minimum 8 years of IT Services and / or Solutions experienceMinimum 3 years of sales management experienceStrong knowledge of IT Services, including Cyber Security, Network Infrastructure, Software Workflow Solutions, and Cloud ComputingAdvanced project and process management skills to implement budget strategies through a sales teamStrong time management skills to balance the needs of staff, management, and customersAdvanced analytical skills to review customer requirements, coach pricing proposals, and use information from sales operations and finance to increase salesProficient in Salesforce, S21DS, Sales Logs, and Core Billing PackagesAdvanced ability to demonstrate the DSD IT Services line to customersBasic computer skills to review and manipulate data in Excel and create presentations in PowerPoint using Google Docs or MS OfficeFrench may be required in specific territories.Why Join?
