Work will be in Metro Vancouver with the possibility for occasional travel in Canada.
Health & Safety Coordinator (~50% of your time)
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :
1. Ongoing Internal H&S Tasks :
- Uphold McCue Corporate Health and Safety Manual policies and procedures.
- Overview of fleet vehicles and operating procedures.
- Perform new driver orientation including ride along to gauge comfortability and skill level.
- Manage internal McCue Employee training matrix and organize training for new employees (work position dependant), including :
- Develop, organize, and manage a PPE inventory and purchase PPE as needed.
2. Ongoing Project Related Tasks :
Health and Safety Plan development (HASP)Site surveys and Hazard AnalysisJSA developmentProject Job Observations (PJO) / Site Safety AuditsAnalysis of near misses identified by field personnelIncident investigation and reportJourney Management Plan development and managementFiling of H&S paperwork for auditing purposes (i.e. ensure team is filing paperwork in H&S filing cabinet)Obtain WorkSafeBC Clearance Letters as needed.Ensure all sub-contractors review and sign the McCue Sub-Contractor H&S Manual.3. Other Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Tasks :
Warehouse Coordinator (~50% of your time)
Responsible for management of the Delta Facility (facility), Langley Warehouse (warehouse), and all company owned vehicles (vehicles). Responsibilities include shop floor space and storage management, vehicle fleet management, shipping & receiving, and laboratory management.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager include, but may not be limited to :
1. Facility & Warehouse Cleaning :
Ensure garbage and recyclables are removed as required.Ensure tools, equipment and inventory are properly stored.2. Chemical & Laboratory Management :
Establish and maintain an inventory of hazardous products used on McCue property, including the offices, laboratory, warehouses, and vehicles.Ensure WHMIS and other safety systems are followed.Ensure that adequate personal protective equipment is available to workers working on McCue property.Provide instruction, through the office / warehouse health and safety plan, on control measures and safe work procedures.3. Receiving
4. Shipping
5. Inventory Management
6. Vehicle Fleet maintenance and mechanical safety
7. Other
Making recommendations to the Director of Projects for operational changes / improvements.Written and verbal communication with Directors, management, engineers, workers, and subcontractors.Follow all corporate policies.Promote corporate values at all times.Qualifications
The ideal applicant will have a valid BC Driver’s Licence and experience and / or training in one or more of the following areas :
