Summary of responsibilities

Reporting to the Piping Engineering Lead, this position will be part of the team dedicated to managing the planning, construction and development of mining projects. More specifically, the incumbent will be called upon to :

• Prepareengineeringrecords,includingmodels,drawings,sketchesanddesignsforvariouspipingsystems(pumps,lines,slurry,water,air,etc.),aswellaspipingdepartmentplansandspecifications;
• ContributetothereviewofP&IDs;
• Preparecostandtimeestimates,reports,designspecifications,andspecificationsforpipingequipmentandsystems;
• Preparebudgetforecasts;
• Prepare,negotiateandrevisecontracts,includingamendmentsandadditionstocontractualagreements;
• Participate in cost-effectiveness and feasibility studies.
