Position Summary :

Reporting to the Director, Business Process Management, the Training Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and conducting the training program for the Field Service Management system (FSM) and other associated software and processes.

The associated software platforms include the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop training program for the FSM software, including training videos, in-person / virtual / self training content, and training and support documentation.
  • Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions to Field Technicians, back-office staff, and less frequently, to customers.

Session size varies from 1-on-1 training session to large group sessions of up to 30 participants.

  • Provide post-training support to end users
  • Manage and upkeep the training material repository
  • Evaluate existing training infrastructure (i.e. tools and software) and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Assist during the software development phase and update training program as required. Activities include review of design specifications and testing of software.
  • Collect and document feedback from users and feed information back to the development team
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management
  • Up to 10% travel required within North America

Qualifications :

  • College diploma or university degree in Professional Training, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • 2 years or more of training experience in PC and mobile applications
  • 2 years or more hands on development and scripting work in Articulate Storyline 360
  • Can-do attitude and ability to work independently
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong computer literacy with solid skills in Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience with multimedia training platforms and methods
  • Experience with blended learning programs leveraging various methods including eLearning
  • Experience with Field Service Management systems (FSM) or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) an asset
  • English-French bilingualism is an asset
