Commercial Senior Project Manager - Design Build
Our fast-growing General Contractor client is looking to add a Sr. Project Manager to spearhead their influx of commercial new build projects including car dealerships, retail and office.
You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, implementation, estimating, and client management, ensuring successful delivery from inception to completion.

- Project Leadership : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, leading project meetings and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Comprehensive Oversight : Manage all phases of new commercial construction projects from initial planning through to completion.
- Resource Allocation : Effectively distribute resources to meet project demands and deadlines.
- Team Supervision : Oversee on-site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Coordination : Liaise with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
- Cost Management : Tender and negotiate with contractors to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- Quality Control : Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
- Estimating and Budgeting : Conduct quantity takeoffs and work closely with the owner on material selection to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Value Engineering : Provide innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and value for the Executive leadership team.

Requirements
What We'd Like to See : · 10+ years of previous experience in commercial construction. · You're familiar with managing projects scope of at least $25M in construction costs.

- Your tracking and reporting skills are updated and organized in an effective manner to be able to successfully track multiple projects.
- You have superior knowledge of the Ontario building code, especially part 3 &9. · You are intimately familiar with Tarion guidelines, condo registration and structural building envelope.
