The Opportunity :
Reporting to the Traffic Engineer, this position will have a primary focus in one of four traffic operation areas, but may be involved in any area on a project basis or as needed. Area One’s focus is signs and pavement marking, on-street parking, as-built drawings, and Special Event applications. Area Two’s focus is coordinating and leading in the development and administration of traffic safety-related works such as Collision Database management, Collisions Analysis, Network Screening, and other safety-related programs. Area Three’s focus is traffic signal operations including signal warrant analysis, signal timing plan design, ATMS for signal operations, and detailed report preparation. Area Four’s focus is the design / construction of traffic signals and roadway lighting including : preparation of traffic signal and roadway lighting layout design and cost estimates, traffic signal and roadway lighting construction project coordination.

Remuneration
$43.90 to $51.76 per hour.
Hours of Work :
75 hours biweekly, Monday to Friday. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
