Westerner Park is seeking a Casual Warehouse Attendant to join our dynamic Food & Beverage Services team. The Warehouse Attendant supports the daily operations of the event center by maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring timely stocking of supplies, and assisting with event setup and breakdown. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Warehouse and Kitchen Operations, this hands-on, event-based role offers flexible hours depending on event schedules and operational needs.

Summary
The Warehouse Attendant plays a key support role in the Food & Beverage Services department, ensuring operational readiness through accurate inventory management, organized stock, and assistance with event preparation and breakdown. This casual position is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adaptable to variable schedules.
Essential Functions
Inventory & Stock Management
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming deliveries and supplies
- Stock and restock warehouse locations, concession stands, kitchens, bars, and event spaces as needed
- Rotate stock using FIFO principles to ensure product freshness and minimize waste
- Conduct routine inventory counts and report discrepancies or shortages to warehouse leadership
- Maintain organized storage areas to ensure efficiency, safety, and accessibility
Event Support
Pull, stage, and distribute inventory and equipment for scheduled eventsAssist with pre-event setup and post-event breakdown, including returns and reconciliation of stockEnsure event supplies are delivered accurately and on time based on event requirementsSupport last-minute event needs and restocks during live events as requiredWarehouse Organization & Safety
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, coolers, freezers, and storage areasFollow all safety procedures for lifting, equipment usage, and food handlingReport damaged goods, safety concerns, or equipment issues promptlyAssist with waste reduction, recycling, and proper disposal practicesAdditional Duties

High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious warehouse, inventory, or stockroom experience is an assetComfortable working in coolers, freezers, and fast-paced environmentsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAble to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event daysProServe and Food Safe certifications considered assetsFirst Aid / CPR certification an assetValid driver’s license requiredPhysically able to work in a warehouse setting, including standing for extended periods and lifting equipment or suppliesWork Environment
