Field Optimization Rover

Tourmaline Oil Corp. is a Canadian senior crude oil and natural gas exploration and production company. We are focused on long-term growth through an aggressive exploration, development, production, and acquisition program in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.

We are currently looking for a field optimization rover to join our team in NEBC.

Work schedule to be discussed and may be subject to change if required.

PRIMARY FOCUS :

The primary responsibly is to support the operations group in all aspects of field optimization activities. They will contribute by having a daily focus on trending plunger / gas lift wells, identifying areas of opportunity, and supporting operators with their expertise.

Communication is extremely important with this position and will be key to help support the area optimization activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Sunrise Foreman, the successful candidate will be responsible for or assist with the following duties but not be limited to :

• Report directly to the area lead operator.
• Assist the field run operator if needed with operational support in all optimization activities.
• Remote monitoring and trending of all plunger lift wells in the area daily.
• Maintain monthly plunger lift maintenance schedule.
• Perform surface equipment checks prior to intervention work.
• Perform annual lubricator bore scope inspections via MarsWorx program.
• Support and organize the rig in / out and operation of the gas lift compressor.
• Identify and communicate downhole problems with the optimization group.
• Participate in monthly safety meetings and various safety programs.
• Order replacement plunger lift equipment and manage inventories.
• Complete area surface casing vent flow testing and suspended well inspections.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Competency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills are essential.
