We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Outside Salesperson to join our dynamic team specializing in industrial coatings.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and proven sales experience within the industrial sector. This role is critical in driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and providing technical expertise to our clients.
We are flexible on where you live in Alberta, with a focus on the Southern Alberta region.
Responsibilities :
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
- Prospect and contact potential customers via email, phone, and face-to-face sales calls.
- Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments.
- Create sales material to present to customers.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms.
- Ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
Technical Expertise :
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial coatings and their applications.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding product selection, application techniques, and troubleshooting.
- Comfortable conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits and applications of our industrial coatings.
- Collaborate with the technical team to address customer inquiries and ensure the successful implementation of our products.
Education & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent certificate in Chemistry, Engineering, Business, or experience in a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in industrial coatings or a related technical field.
Other Requirements :
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Compensation
- Base salary starting range from $50,000 to $65,000, depending on qualifications.
- Commission with unlimited potential for earnings.
