Clients come to Rockford to solve unique problems that not everyone else can solve in the areas of industrial process, mechanical engineering & machine design, low voltage electrical design, and automation.

Rockford is looking for senior engineers to tackle complex design problems, drive multidisciplinary development projects, and lead young professionals.

How can you help?

Rockford is currently filling senior roles including Project Engineers, Supervisory Engineers, Lead Design Engineers, and Senior Design Engineers.

We are looking for technical professionals with 12+ years’ experience across the following competencies :

• Design of structural equipment frames and vehicle chassis,
• Fluid power design including complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems,
• Applications design in areas of low-voltage electrical, robotics, mechatronics, & instrumentation,
• Design of power systems, powertrains, drivetrains, and running gear arrangements,
• Finite Element Analysis and simulation methodologies,
• Design of structural and mechanical arrangements in both static and dynamic applications (including semi & fully autonomous systems),
• Industrial process design including equipment & component specification, bulk material transfer, HVAC, and process piping,
• Strength of materials & material selection design, and design for both traditional and additive manufacturing process,
