Investment Advisor Assistant
Location : Richmond Hill Ontario
Schedule : 4 days inoffice 1day remote
Overview : We are seeking anexperienced investment advisor assistant for our client in RichmondHill. The successful candidate will primarily work inoffice fourdays a week and remotely for one day.
The role involves supportingour investment advisors in managing an established book ofbusiness. Preferred candidates will hold IFIC and LLQP licenses andhave a minimum of three years of relevant experience in thefinancial services industry.
Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive administrative supportto investment advisors including managing calendars schedulingappointments and handling correspondence.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of clientdocumentation including account opening forms transfer requests andinvestment applications.
- Coordinate clientmeetings prepare meeting materials and ensure followup on actionitems.
- Process client transactions accuratelyand efficiently adhering to regulatory requirements and companypolicies.
- Maintain client records anddatabases ensuring the accuracy and completeness ofinformation.
- Respond to client inquiries andprovide exceptional customer service demonstrating professionalismand responsiveness.
- Assist in the developmentand implementation of client communication strategies includingnewsletters market updates and event invitations.
- Conduct research and analysis on investment productsmarket trends and regulatory changes providing insights andrecommendations to investment advisors.
- Collaborate with internal teams including complianceoperations and marketing to ensure seamless execution of clientservice initiatives.
- Stay informed aboutindustry developments regulatory changes and best practicesactively participating in professional developmentopportunities.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of three years of experience in asimilar role within the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of investment products financial marketsand regulatory requirements.
- Preferredcertifications : IFIC and LLQP licenses.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability toprioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlineseffectively.
- Exceptional attention to detailand accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with CRMsoftware (e.g. Salesforce Microsoft Dynamics).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills bothverbal and written.
- Ability to workindependently and collaboratively within a teamenvironment.
- Commitment to maintainingconfidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive clientinformation.
- Bachelor's degree inFinance Business Administration or a related field is anasset.
