Our Transmission and Distribution Lines team isspread out across Canada, mainly in our Mont-Saint-Hilaire (head office),Toronto and Edmonton offices.

Our multidisciplinary team is comprised ofspecialized engineers, technicians and support staff and includes professionalsfrom junior to expert levels.

• As part of Hydro-Québec's substation projects,you’ll be required to;
• Serve in various roles, including project leader and proposal leader;
• Help design high- and medium-voltage electrical substations;
• Prepare lists of materials and bills of materials, installation specifications and layout drawings in accordance with Hydro-Québec standards;
• Perform or check calculations to size equipment and select appropriate power cable gauges;
• Participate in site surveys;
• Ensure coordination with managers from other disciplines.

Overview of certifications and job requirements

• University degree in engineering;
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
• More than five years of experience in electrical apparatus projects at Hydro-Québec;
• Very good knowledge of specialized software such as MPI, MCT, CPI and Logesdes;
• Knowledge of Hydro-Québec standards (GT, SN, TET, etc.).
