Role :
The Logistics & Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing the organization’s logistics, warehousing, inventory, and fleet operations in alignment with the Corporations goals and objectives. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement of goods while supporting the company’s high-touch customer service model.
Key Duties & Accountabilities :
- Develop and execute logistics and warehouse strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Optimize warehouse space utilization, including layout, racking, and storage strategies to improve efficiency and accommodate growth
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP data, and analytics to standardize processes and optimize workflows
- Establish, monitor, and refine existing KPIs to enhance accuracy, productivity, service quality, and accountability
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen) to reduce cost and improve efficiency
Team Leadership & Employee Management :
Lead warehouse supervisors, forklift operators, drivers, and departmental staff in accordance with Canadian labour legislation and company policiesParticipate in hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and training & developmentAddress employee concerns in alignment with HR policies and a respectful workplace cultureEnsure fair scheduling, sufficient staffing, team engagement, and develop a culture of accountabilityWarehouse Operations & Fulfillment :
Oversee receiving, picking, packing, inventory movement, fulfilment, and shipping activitiesEnsure equipment availability and coordinate safe maintenance and repairsReduce pick times, streamline processes, and ensure inventory accuracyMaintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with operational standardsImplement industry best practices to drive efficiency and the highest quality of serviceInventory & Fleet Management :
Lead inventory management programs, cycle counts, reconciliations, and root cause analysisOversee routing, scheduling, dispatching, and coordinating 3rd party resources for timely deliveries while ensuring compliance with Canadian transportation regulations (MTO / DOT)Manage the operation and maintenance of fleet and material handling assetsIf you have the experience we are looking for and are interested please forward resume to Jaylene
