The Beaumont Sport & Recreation Centre (BSRC) is looking for Guest Services Representative’s (GSR) to continually amplify the front reception experience! This facility features an NHL-sized ice rink, with seating for spectators, fieldhouse that can accommodate indoor soccer, lacrosse, and host events; a gymnasium that can accommodate multi-court play; climbing-wall; running / walking track; concession, multi-purpose rooms, tuck shops; and of course, an aquatic centre.

Do you have exceptional customer service skills and a knack for problem solving? Are you that go-to person regular customers seek out for assistance? What YOU’RE Responsible for :

• Interacting with facility patrons in a friendly, fast, courteous, and efficient manner
• Course overrides and booking cancellations
• Assist with accounting, reporting, and software maintenance and upgrades
• Identify guest retention opportunities
• Listening to the needs of the facility patrons, providing detailed information regarding programs, products, services, and events, and proactively addressing concerns
• Processing new membership sales, point of sales transactions, and balancing the cash register
• Registering patrons in recreation programs
• Taking pride in every aspect of your work and performing tasks with energy and enthusiasm
• Ensure adherence to Legislative regulations, Safety Directives and procedures and all respectful workplace standards.
• Report unsafe conditions and near miss incidents promptly.
• Attend regular safety meetings and promote a positive attitude.
• Other duties as assigned
