As an Export Buyer, youll play a key role in expanding our footprint by aligning supply with demand, managing supplier relationships, and keeping international trade moving efficiently and compliantly.

Location: 2200 Eagle Street North, Cambridge

Compensation:$120,000-$150,000 per year

What You Will Be Doing:

• Source new and used vehicles from manufacturers, dealers, auctions, and fleet operators for export markets
• Analyze international market demand, pricing trends, and vehicle specifications by region
• Negotiate purchase prices, volumes, and commercial terms with suppliers
• Place and manage vehicle purchase orders in line with sales forecasts and budgets
• Ensure vehicles comply with destination country regulations and import requirements
• Coordinate export documentation, including invoices, certificates of origin, titles, and customs paperwork
• Arrange vehicle inspections and verify condition, specifications, and quantities prior to shipment
• Manage logistics from supplier pickup to port of export, including transport and shipping arrangements
• Work with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs agents to ensure timely delivery
• Monitor shipment status and resolve delays, damages, or documentation issues
• Calculate total landed costs and maintain target profit margins
• Manage supplier relationships and identify new sourcing opportunities
• Communicate closely with sales, logistics, and finance teams to align supply with demand
• Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and shipment records
• Prepare regular reports on purchasing performance, costs, and market trends
  

What You Bring to the Table:

• Minimum 3 years automotive experience specializing in acquisition and disposition of pre-owned vehicles.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate wholesale automotive relationships
• Must be highly organized
• Current OMVIC
• Ability to travel
• Working knowledge of PBS is considered an asset
• Valid G driving license and clean driving record
