Job descriptionApproximately $60,000- $75,000 salary , depending on experience Stable weekday schedule Group health benefits, paid time off, and statutory holidays Work within a structured, professional environment that values accountability and clarity Full‑time, permanent position with a well‑established, growing organization A role that is critical to execution and client satisfaction High visibility within the business and direct exposure to ownership Ideal for someone who wants to build a long‑term career , not just manage tasks Central role connecting clients, manufacturing, and field operations Broad exposure across estimating, production, scheduling, and installation Opportunity to become a trusted operational lead as the business continues to grow Strong runway for increased responsibility as systems and scale expand Coordinate projects from pre‑production through fabrication and field installation Act as the main point of contact between clients, shop operations, and road crews Track and manage project schedules, milestones, and delivery timelines Support estimating and pre‑job planning activities Ensure manufacturing and field teams have clear priorities and accurate information Communicate schedule changes, risks, and constraints proactively Maintain project documentation, job status updates, and reporting Support budget awareness and help ensure projects remain on track financially Manage a large, fast‑moving portfolio — potentially 200+ projects at varying sizes and stages Work closely with ownership and senior leadership to support execution 3+ years of experience in project coordination, scheduling, or operations Background in mechanical construction, manufacturing, elevators, or industrial trades is strongly preferred Proven ability to manage high project volume in a structured, organized way Exceptional organizational skills — you naturally create systems and structure Strong scheduling, prioritization, and time‑management abilities Confident, articulate communicator comfortable speaking with clients and trades Proactive, go‑getter mindset — you see issues early and act Comfortable working directly with ownership and senior leadership Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools

The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a Durham Region–based mechanical / industrial engineering and manufacturing firm with over 30 years of proven success delivering custom, precision‑built solutions into regulated, safety‑critical environments across Canada and North America.
This organization designs, manufactures, and installs highly customized mechanical interior systems , operating out of a modern manufacturing facility and supporting an active field installation team. They are now adding a Project Coordinator — a role that is central to how the business operates and delivers for its clients .
This is not an administrative role. It is a high‑visibility coordination position that connects ownership, the shop, the field crews, and clients to ensure projects move forward on time, on budget, and with clarity.
About the Role
The Project Coordinator acts as the operational hub between multiple stakeholders :
- Company ownership and leadership
- Shop foreman and manufacturing team
- Field installation crews
- External clients and partners
You will be responsible for keeping potentially dozens of active projects aligned , each at different stages ranging from estimating and planning to fabrication and installation.
This role requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, and confident communicating with trades and clients alike . You must be comfortable managing competing priorities, tracking timelines, and ensuring everyone has a clear line of sight on whats happening next.
