Clinical Product Specialist Biomedical Engineer

Join one of the world’s leading companies in medical technology that offers an array of innovative medical technologies and products sold around the globe.

This a newly created role you will work closely with the sales and service teams across Canada providing clinical product expertise, training, and support to Account Executives and key hospital accounts from coast to coast (extensive travel required).

Your focus is to work collaboratively elevating company service standards, assisting the sales team achieve revenue goals, and ensuring customer expectations are exceeded by going the extra mile to drive commercial performance.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing you will :

  • Support Account Executives to aid in the promotion, sale, and customer education of products and solutions working in a surgical environment.
  • Provide technical and clinical product support to the sales team and customers and assist with training and education events and activities.
  • Attend key strategic meetings, conventions, courses & labs as required.
  • Build productive relationships with physicians, nursing, biomedical engineers and other key individuals at key customer accounts.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through assessing customer needs, providing assistance and information on products and solutions, and delivering excellent sales service.
  • Attend and successfully complete all education programs to develop and exhibit a high degree of knowledge regarding product lines, key selling features, and competitive advantages.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • University degree, preferably in Biomedical Technology or Engineering.
  • 2+ years of customer service and / or direct sales experience with proven customer relationship building skills.
  • Ability to always maintain a professional demeanor dealing with customers at all levels of an organization, and with fellow co-workers.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills with a desire to collaborate, share knowledge to benefit others, and solve problems positively in a highly competitive environment.
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, hardworking and driven with ability to work in fast paced environment to achieve goals while under time constraints.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

Compensation includes a salary of $75K-95K depending on relevant work experience, plus performance bonus, health benefits, car allowance, paid travel expenses, and all the perks.
