MatchBox Consulting Group is urgently searching for a Senior UX Researcher for a 12- month contract role (37.5 hours per week) for our BC based public sector client.
This is a fully remote position, but candidates must reside in BC.
Pay Rate : $50.00 to $65.00 / hour
Must Have Skills
- Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Must have at least 3-5 years experience conducting UX Research, particularly for omnichannel products and services.
- Experience with standard UX Research methodologies (e.g. interviews, field studies / ethnography, diary studies, task analysis, formative and summative usability tests, A / B testing, surveys, heuristic evaluations, competitive analysis, etc.)
- Experience creating UX Research artifacts such as journey maps, personas, affinity diagrams, highlight reels, etc.
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into succinct thought and impactful storytelling.
SERVICES
- Actively partner with designers, product teams, and other key stakeholders to deeply understand and inform research goals and strategies.
- Plan, conduct, and synthesize research using a range of methods, including, but not limited to interviews, field studies, diary studies, task analysis, formative and summative usability tests, A / B testing, surveys, heuristic evaluations, competitive analysis, etc.,
- Support designers in making data-informed decisions at various stages in the design process, including discovery, problem definition, ideation, and design validation.
- Consolidate user insights to develop artifacts such as personas, user scenarios, journey maps, mental models, etc.,
- Effectively articulate the implications of research insights in clear and compelling ways; translating qualitative and quantitative research findings into actionable opportunities and recommendations.
- Understand industry trends and connect with other products teams to share and leverage insights across the organization.
- Confidently represent and advocate for the user voice in conversations with stakeholders.
