Our Client and Employer is looking for a Retail Sales Supervisor for a kid clothing and goods store. Responsible for overseeing sales operations, managing staff, and promoting sustainable shopping.

We're seeking an inside Canada open work permit holder applicant whose leadership will drive our team's success in providing exceptional customer experiences and contributing to our store's mission.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and coordinate sales staff and cashiers, ensuring efficient and customer-friendly operations.
  • Assign tasks and create work schedules for sales workers, optimizing coverage for excellent service.
  • Authorize payments via cheque and manage merchandise returns following established policies.
  • Personally engage with customers, showcasing merchandise, and fostering positive interactions.
  • Resolve challenges such as customer complaints and supply shortages to uphold service quality.
  • Maintain inventory levels of thrift store items, proactively initiating merchandise orders.
  • Prepare insightful reports on sales volumes, merchandise displays, and staffing matters.
  • Contribute to the hiring process and provide training to new sales staff, aligning with our store's ethos.

Requirements

  • High school diploma; Retail management experience preferred.
  • Exceptional supervisory and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for thrift store culture and commitment to sustainable practices.
  • Excellent English and Communication skills.
  • Willingness to relocate.
  • Only open work permit holders are permitted.
  • Previous experience in clothing stores is a plus.
