About This Faculty Role :

HTS has an exciting opportunity for an educator to join us in the Senior School as a Physical and Health Education Teacher.

The successful candidate will oversee the academic progress and personal growth of each student in their assigned courses, and be fully involved in co-curricular activities.

What You Need :

We are inviting candidates with the following qualifications to apply :

Ontario Teacher Certification with senior PHE qualifications

Familiarity with new Ministry Physical Education and Health Curriculum

Deep knowledge of the Ontario curriculum and Growing Success

Knowledge of Ontario’s 21st century competencies

A minimum of 2 years experience teaching in defined subject matter area

Experience or expertise in learner-centered instructional approaches

Experience integrating technology into the learning environment to enhance and augment the learning experience

The willingness and ability to collaborate with fellow teachers

Experience working from a framework of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

The willingness and ability to coach Athletic teams
