Job Overview
Reporting to the Senior Security Coordinator, and upward to the MDR Site Security Lead (SSL) and Deputy Site Security Lead (DSSL), the incumbent will be responsible for providing security coordination / administrative support to the MDR Security Management Team. This role primarily involves administrative tasks including coordination with other subcontractors on site. Responsibilities also include supporting mobilization and training for new hires, ID / badging duties, scheduling water taxis and water taxi manifests for the Project, and booking Floatel rooms for MDR employees and some MDR subcontractors.
Compensation ranges between 73,948 CAD - 94,340 CAD. In addition, McDermott Energy Solutions Canada offers a competitive total rewards package for supporting the project.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications and Education
- Strong administrative skills and experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Proficient in ExcelExperience in investigations
- Strong knowledge of core security principles along with planning and conflict resolution skills
- Willing and able to work either Day or Night shift in a remote, camp style environment
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of discretion and professionalism
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Monitor the Security and the Floatel Booking group mailboxes and act on email requestsLearn and become familiar with the Genetec software for the Project ID / Badging systemAdministrative duties related the Project ID / Badging database
Process Mobilization Request forms from subcontractors and prepare personnel profiles within the Project ID databasePrepare daily lists of New Hires mobilizing to site and distribute to guards at access pointsTake / upload ID photos into the personnel files on the databasePrint and distribute Project ID badgesPrepare daily, weekly, and / or monthly ID / Badging statisticsProcess subcontractor Demobilization forms and deactivate ID badges in the system, including marking banned individuals as ‘Denied Access’Process Mobilization email requests
Create individual file folders for all new hires on the Security OneDrive and verify that mobilization requirements are met, ensuring certificates are stored in proper foldersCorrelate this information on the ID System databaseProcess Demobilization emails
Move individual file folder to the Demob folder within the OneDriveCorrelate with the ID database and badging systemProcess and review Visit / Short Duration Work Request forms as required
Prepare Daily Visitor Lists and distribute to guards at all access pointsMonitor Visitor ID cards in the ID databaseProcess and review Camera Pass Requests as required.
Scanning and saving copies of all Camera Pass Requests and Site Photography agreementsMaintaining the Master List of persons authorized to take photos / videoIssuing Camera Pass stickersProcess Vehicle Pass Request forms as required.
Scanning and saving Vehicle pass requests, insurance and registration information in individual folders for each vehicleMaintaining the Master List of light vehicles approved for sitePreparing, printing and distributing Regular Vehicle Passes for all approved light vehiclesAssist in maintaining the Project Denied Access List and ensure it synchronizes with the ID / Badging databaseCollect daily stats from the guard force and other security entities and preparing daily, weekly, and / or monthly statistical reports as requiredProvide new hires with MDR Orientation and Cultural Awareness training dates, and coordinate and directly facilitate these training sessions on siteConnect directly with MDR new hires to collect required Mobilization documentsAssist with creating water taxi schedules for the Project, and create water taxi manifests
Learn and utilize the Nomadis room booking system in use for the two FloatelsCreate new profiles in Nomadis for new hires coming to site for the first timeMake room bookings in the Nomadis system for MDR and other workers#J-18808-Ljbffr
