Lifeguard Instructor
Description
Carry out tasks relating to the supervision and rescue of bathers, teaching, sanitary maintenance and accident prevention.
Key Responsibilities
- Reports directly to the supervisor.
- He / she must be able to answer questions from the public about programmes and events.
- He / she must administer first aid.
- He / she must be prepared and organised for the course programme. He / she may give different courses.
- Must attend special events (outdoor pool).
- Must attend pre-season training.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Instruction :
- National lifeguard
- Red Cross instructor or current instructor certification
- Bilingual - English and French
