Cust. SWBD Mechanical Assembler

Our client, manufacturing industry, is seeking a Cust. SWBD Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Cust. SWBD Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Cust. SWBD Mechanical Assembler

Location : Milton, ON

Pay Range : $22 - $26 per hour (based on experince)

Day and Afternoon shifts available

What's the Job?

Assemble, fit, and mount mechanical components into large switchboard structures.

Construct heavy switchboard structures and subassemblies using pre-fabricated metal parts.

Mount and brace copper bus, risers, and bus supports inside structures.

Utilize a variety of tools including power impact wrenches, torque guns, ladders, punch presses, and band saws.

Inspect parts and materials before and after assembly to ensure quality and conformance to drawings and standards.

What's Needed?

Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly using power tools.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models.

Strong physical capability and aptitude for mechanical work.

Excellent attitude, commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Legally eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.
