Construction Work Planner

The Construction Work Planner is located in Bowmanville and typically reports directly to the CWP Supervisor. The Construction Work Planner is responsible for understanding, walking down, and creating planned work orders in the work management system for the purpose of project implementation activities for various contracts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow all Black and McDonald’s Quality Managed system procedures for work planning
• Interpret design documents for scope installation
• Preparation of inspection and test plans
• Work with Project Managers / teams to plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate projects to ensure work packages are created, processed and delivered
• Conduct analysis to determine duration of project activities and identify interdependencies to meet project scope of work
• Provide support to other stakeholders and groups as required
• Follow all related Managed System Procedures as they relate to Construction / Maintenance work packages

Assist with the estimation of new bids for the purposes of supplying hours for Work Planning functions
