THE TEAM

The mission of the Materials Department is to deliver a portfolio of materials that fulfill the creative vision.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing, and our Materials Department team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for leading and motivating the team responsible for bringing Aritzia's product to life.

You will play a pivotal role in the sourcing and identification of high-quality fabrics that achieve Creative's vision and deliver on our customer's needs.

THE ROLE

As the Director of Materials, Fabric , you will lead the team to :

  • Determine the approach for sourcing fabrics that fulfill the design vision
  • Secure the best possible quality against defined standards, using industry-leading practices
  • Secure the best possible lead times without compromising quality
  • Secure the best possible margins without compromising lead-time and quality
  • Ensure the high quality, timely, and cost-effective delivery of all materials prior to finished good production
  • Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Director of Materials, Fabric has :

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $150,000 - $225,000CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus.
