Job descriptionDevelop dashboards, reports, self-service datasets, and queries using Power BI Design, automate, and manage data visualization solutions using Power BI and SAP Business Objects Analyze business and support team requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions Collaborate with business and technical partners to evaluate data needs from the data warehouse Work closely with the solution architect to define and evolve data storage and transformation architectures Mentor other team members in service delivery and problem resolution Deliver analytics enhancements based on priorities defined by the team lead Apply best practices in data modeling and visualization Optimize the Microsoft environment for Power BI Desktop, Premium subscriptions, dataflows, and datasets Identify gaps between requirements and available data Assess security requirements and collect business metadata Prepare design requirement specification documents and effort estimates Define feasibility and impacts on the current environment Develop test cases for reports and dashboards Build reports and dashboards following best practices Create and document technical metadata definitions Execute unit tests and provide result reports Manage report generation processes and investigate or resolve failures Post-secondary education in computer technology or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft Power BI Minimum 6 years of experience with SAP BW / BI / BOBJ Ability to work in a senior front-end development capacity Strong analytical and communication skills Ability to mentor and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams Microsoft Power BI (Desktop, Premium, dataflows, datasets) SAP Business Warehouse (BW), SAP BI, SAP Business Objects (BOBJ) Databricks Data modeling and data visualization best practices Metadata documentation and unit testing English
